Obituary
Roy D. Langdon, age 78, passed away peacefully at the Heritage in Appleton on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, following a 5 year battle with Parkinsons. He was born August 7, 1945, in Manhattan, NY, son of the late Duane and Irma Langdon.
Roy married Mary Muggenthaler on November 18, 1967. He served is Country in the US Army in Vietnam. Roy was employed with the City of Appleton Street Department for 40 years until retiring in 2007.
Roy enjoyed trips to the casino, deer hunting at his friend Al's cottage, spending time at the cottage up north, and especially liked spending time with his grandson, Jake, and going to his baseball and soccer games.
Roy is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Gina (Todd) Johnson; his grandson, Jake Johnson; a sister, Betsy (Stan) Steffes; nephew, Lee (Vicki) Buelow; great-niece, Rachel Buelow; and cousins: Rick (Karen) Langdon, Mark (Teresa) Langdon.
He was preceded in death by his son, Mathew Langdon; and a sister, Rose Mary Buelow.
A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established form Parkinson's Research.
