Herb my favorite neighbor, I enjoyed our conversations while walking our dogs..what a great sense of humor.. he’ll be sadly missed

I had the opportunity to serve on The Board of Directors and The Building and Property committees with Herb at the Neenah Menasha YMCA. At times he definitely brought a different viewpoint on topics to the table but was always willing to explain his comments and suggestions.   There was never a meeting where he didn’t put a smile on your face. R.I.P. Herb

Dr Allen was one of my favorite adults when I was a child, continuing into adulthood. I was blessed to be a neighbor of his and Marilyn, and loved them. I am part of who I am because of him, because of many talks. He was a progressive and understanding person in a place that needed it. May his memory be a blessing, and his family be comforted in the ways they need.

Love & condolences to family 💖 My daughter Erinn was in Sarah’s class.I also knew Herb from the YMCA…great runner& so full of life! The world was lucky to have him. 

I worked as nurse with Dr Allen on the psychiatric unit at St Elizabeth Hospital. He was kind and funny and worked hard to help his patients. He was a joy to work with. He always brought the staff a huge bag of bagels when he was  working on the weekend. Rest in peace , I’m so glad you were a part of my life.
