Obituary
Neenah - Eunice Elizabeth Eggenberger, 91, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Valley VNA Senior Care. She was born on July 27, 1933, to the late Emil and Lydia (Malueg) Zuleger of rural Black Creek.
Education was important to her. She insisted on finishing high school, despite being encouraged not to. While the children were growing up, she got an associate degree in accounting from Fox Valley Tech and, much later, got a bachelor's degree from UW-Oshkosh. She also made sure her children studied hard. Her faith was very important to her, and she was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church in Neenah.
Eunice enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed travel, going on tours after her retirement.
She is survived by children Alan Eggenberger and Pam (John) Heyrman, grandchildren Craig and Patrick Heyrman, and great-grandchildren Max and Finn Heyrman.
Eunice was preceded in death by three brothers: Forrest, Marshall, and Darvin Zuleger; and one sister, Marian Petznick.
The family extends special thanks to the staff of Valley VNA for the compassionate care they gave Eunice. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
