EDWIN FREDRICK

Edwin W. Fredrick, age 93, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024, at Park View Health Center in Oshkosh. He was born September 15, 1931, in Montello, WI, the oldest son of Walter H. and Adeline (Otto) Fredrick.

Edwin grew up on a farm in Montello. He served in the US Army from 1953-1955, earning several awards during the Korean Conflict. Edwin moved to Neenah in 1956 and worked for Kimberly-Clark for 33 years. Edwin married Marlene Batterman on September 3, 1960. They met at the Eagles Club in Oshkosh where they would go to dance. She preceded him in death on April 2, 2006.

Edwin enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and his family. 

Survivors include his three sons: Bruce (Wendy) Fredrick, Paul Fredrick, Karl Fredrick.

Edwin was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Martin Luther Church, 436 S. Lake Street, Neenah, with Rev. Tyler Shinnick officiating. The visitation will be held at the church from 9:00AM until the hour of service. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Martin Loescher officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
