DOROTHY FROST

Now in the arms of her Savior, Dorothy M. Frost, age 95, passed peacefully from this life at home on Nov. 27, 2024. She was born Sept. 1, 1929, in Marinette, WI, daughter of the late Clarence and Catherine (Penl) Kamin.

Dorothy grew up in Marinette, WI, where Dorothy's love of flowers began when helping her mom and dad with their floral business. She graduated from Marinette High School in 1947 and married Norman Frost on Oct. 7, 1950. He preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 2005. 

In 1962, Dorothy and Norman moved to Green Bay, WI. Dorothy was employed at Kellogg Bank for 8 years and FMC Corp. for 16 years. 

Dorothy's main hobby was knitting Packers' baby hats and blankets for hospitals, and prayer shawls and scrubbies as gifts for others. She also enjoyed sweets, hosting family for home Packers games, and playing bingo and cards. She loved attending church and listening to hymns, and was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Appleton. 

Survivors include her two sons: Rev. Richard (Pam) Frost, Grand Junction, CO; David (Kris) Frost, Appleton; four grandchildren: Heather (Michael) Malek, Tiffany (Jake) Reisner, Sarah (Isaac) Crass and Rachel (Alex) Brown; five great grandchildren; a brother, Don Kamin; and two sisters-in-law: Betty Kamin and Carol Frost.

Dorothy was preceded in death by a brother, Dick Kamin; two sisters-in-law: Diane Kamin and Eleanor Stoksik; and two brothers-in-law: Jack Frost and Art Stoksik.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 930 E. Florida Ave., Appleton. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
