MARSHA PAULSON

Marsha M. Paulson, age 73, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, following an unexpected, brief illness. On January 17, 1951, Marsha Mary was born in Neenah to Kenneth and Allene Heinz. On January 21, 1972, she married Michael Paulson in Oshkosh. They shared 37 years together before his passing in 2009. Following her retirement from Kimberly-Clark Corporation and the passing of her husband, Marsha continued to enjoy more years at her home on Lake Winnebago before making the move to easier condo living a few years ago. Completing puzzles was a pastime she enjoyed and there was always another one waiting to be started as soon she finished the one she was working on. Marsha looked forward to her lunch outings with Connie Dedering, her dear friend since kindergarten and spending time with her grand-dog, Keva. She was an amazing baker, and her delicious cakes, bars and cookies were always a gift that let you know she was thinking of you. Her grandsons brought the most happiness to her life. She was their biggest fan and loved watching them play sports, attend school functions and celebrate every accomplishment, big and small. She never missed one of Sam's football games and was looking forward to Evan's graduation from high school this spring. 

Marsha will be deeply missed by her children: Brooke (Brad) Cardoza and Michael Paulson; her beloved grandchildren: Evan and Sam Cardoza; her siblings: Linda (Dan) Calvey, Jeni Meyer, Cato Heinz, Tony (Kim) Heinz and Betsy Heinz; her in-laws: Kathy Ziske, Mary Beth Paulson, Steve (Beth) Paulson, Barbie Paulson and Barbara (Bob) Celichowski. Marsha is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marsha was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Heinz; in-laws: John Paulson, Genevieve Paulson, John Paulson Jr., Sue Paulson and Debi Baldauf.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff in the ICU and on the 5th floor of ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Appleton for the care and compassion they gave Marsha over the last 4 weeks. Also, much gratitude to family and friends for their support.
