GERD MEUKOW

The picture included with this message is if Gerd, our mother and me.  I don’t remember what year it was taken, but it is such a sweet keepsake and memory now.  She passed away on St.Nick’s day in 2012 at age 90.   Gerd passed away just before Christmas this year.  He was only 74.  I take comfort knowing that Mom greeted him with open arms when he arrived in heaven.  She did the same thing for Michelle when she arrived.  And now they are all together with other loved ones.   Gerd was the most selfless person that I ever knew.  It was so upsetting to see him in pain. I also take comfort knowing that he is no longer in pain and can finally rest in Jesus’s arms, surrounded by family and loved ones. Auf Wiedersehen Big Brother!  Love you!!

I first met Gerd in 2011 when I started at Menasha Corporation. He was a great man and hard worker. I spent time fishing with him on little lake Butte morts, and Lake Winnebago. You will be greatly missed Gerd Bag.
