Obituary

Michael Edwards, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away surrounded by loved ones. Born with an entrepreneurial spirit, Michael built and led multiple successful companies before retiring in 2024. His dedication and vision left a lasting mark on those he worked with and the communities he served.

Michael married the love of his life, Marguerite Edwards, on August 5, 1972, after meeting while working in Washington, D.C. Together, they shared over five decades of marriage, living in both Maine and Wisconsin and creating a home filled with love and laughter.

He is survived by his wife Marguerite; daughters Wendy Tanis and Tammy Edwards; and four cherished grandchildren: Kaleab, Isaac, and Aaliyah Tanis, and Isabella Edwards. Michael also leaves behind his brothers Rick and Dick Edwards, sisters Marianne Kelly and Jody Bergner, and their spouses, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Outside of his professional accomplishments, Michael found his greatest joy in spending time with his family. His warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
