FRANK JOHNSON

Frank Steven Johnson, 59, passed away peacefully January 4, 2025. Frank was born to Dale and Marge Johnson on June 19, 1965, in Manitowoc, WI. 

Frank attended Neenah High School, later joining the National Guard where his joy of cooking started. He served in the Guard for 13+ years. 

His knowledge and passion for fixing vehicles led to numerous friendships throughout his lifetime. Frank's strong feelings toward his family and friends was apparent by his kind and giving heart.

Frank was a diehard Cubies fan and was fortunate to see them finally win a world series. Besides the Cubs, he was a loyal Packers fan through his lifetime. He also enjoyed going fishing with his brother Jim. Frank also enjoyed making numerous trips to Konop Meats in Stangelville to purchase wieners, brats, etc. for his many friends in the local pubs of Neenah. 

Frank is survived by his father, Dale; brothers: Jim (Toby) and Alan (California); nephews: Josh (Cora) NC, Tyler (Tyler), Derek (Jacklyn); niece, Jade; aunt, Winnie;  and two adorable great-nephews: Vincent and Liam. 

Frank was preceded in death by his beloved mother Marge, who by now is cooking and baking with him, and chasing him with a wooden spoon. 

A special thanks to the Theda Care Cardiology team, the nursing staff and Frank's care team, for the comforting care they provided to him, especially Dr. Zhou. We would also like to thank all of Frank's friends who stayed with him through this journey, you meant the world to him!

Frank fought a hard battle against the hand he was dealt in life. He could have easily gone astray but decided to fight the good fight. 

The funeral service and Celebration of Life will be held at the Short Branch Saloon, 1102 Harrison Street, Neenah, on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 1:00PM to 5:00PM. Military Honors with the Neenah/Menasha Veterans Honor Guard will be held at 2:00PM.
