JANE HARTLEY

Neenah – Jane E. Hartley, 59 , passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Theda Clark Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on November 10, 1965, in Neenah, WI, the daughter of Mary Jane (Cloudman) and Keith Hartley. 

Jane enlisted in the US Navy, and graduated Air Traffic control School in 1988. She was stationed in Adak, Alaska and Whidbey Island, Washington. She found happiness and success as a PCT at Winnebago Mental health in her later years. 

Jane remained unmarried and raised her sole daughter on her own with the help of her family in Neenah. She will always be remembered for her strong-willed and independent nature, along with her passion for art and theater. 

Jane is survived by her mother: Mary Jane; daughter: Karrington; brother: Thomas; her great aunt, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Jane was preceded in death by her father: Keith; maternal grandparents: Auther and Jane Cloudman; paternal grandparents: Mabel and Leroy Hartley; daughters: Molly and Cassidy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 140 S Green Bay Rd, Neenah, WI, with Rev. Niveen Sarras officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to St. Marks Lutheran Church, Neenah, or the local animal shelter.

Jane's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Thedacare Hospice Care for their exceptional compassion and care, as well as to Dr. Thomas Klickhammer for his resilience to keep up the fight for Jane's cancer treatment.
