Obituary

Julie Ann (Harder) Rosenthal, age 74 of Neenah, passed away peacefully early Monday, February 3, 2025 after a brief hospitalization.  She was born to Wilbur “Rip” and Myrna (Stacker) Harder on April 11, 1950.

Julie was a 1968 graduate of Neenah High School and continued her education at Fox Valley Technical College for nursing earning her LPN license.  She later became a pharmacy technician.  She celebrated 50 years of employment at Theda Clark before retiring.

During her younger days, Julie liked to drink and have fun!  She married Burton Rosenthal on February 10, 1973 in Tacoma, Washington and they later moved back to Wisconsin.  Julie enjoyed going to rock concerts, macrame, sewing, cake decorating, cross stitch, card making, card playing and spending time in Door County and Crandon.  She also loved watching the Packers and the Brewers.

Julie is survived by her son: Jeff McBee (Calhoun, GA) and by her two daughters: Amy (Scott) Randall, and Katie (Kurt) Rosenthal-Mayer; her six grandchildren: Jacob, Morgan, Eli, and Carter Randall; and Maysun Rosenthal; and Maren Mayer. She is further survived by her brother, Leon (Pam) Harder; her brother-in-law Wally Thorson; and by many friends and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Nola Thorson; and her husband, Burt.

A funeral will be held on Saturday, February 22 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 200 N. Commercial St., Neenah at 11:00am with visitation starting at 10:00am.  A celebration of Julie's life will follow from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at The Bridgewood Resort Hotel, 1000 Cameron Way, Neenah.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Julie's name.  A special thank you to long time friends: Sharon Nickel, Joanne Alberg, Chris Hoglund and Barb Stadmueller, as well as the Theda Care Neenah ICU team who took such good care of Julie during her final days.

Sorry to here of the passing of your Mother. Julie was a great person and neighbor. My prayers and thoughts go out to the entire family.
