Obituary
Michael K. Manteufel, age 59 of Neenah, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025. He was born June 27, 1965 to DuWayne and Geraldine Manteufel in Neenah. He married Tena (Gilbert) Maynard on April 24, 1987.
Mike is a graduate of Neenah High School and worked at Whiting Paper for 35+ years, until their doors closed. He then worked for IPG. Mike was an avid outdoorsman and greatly enjoyed hunting with his furry companion, Ruby. He also loved fishing with his brothers, especially for salmon. If his family was ever in need of meat, Mike was the one to provide. He also greatly enjoyed sitting around a fire with the people he loved.
Mike is survived by his wife, Tena; children, Kevin (Kaylie) Manteufel; Bob (Tracy) Maynard; Rod Maynard; and Randy (Jessica) Maynard; grandchildren: Reese Manteufel; Jake and Mady Maynard; Brianna Maynard; and McKenzie (Logan) DeGrave; and great-grandchild: Aspen DeGrave. He is further survived by his siblings: Randy (Holly) Manteufel; Debbie (Lorenzo) DeLaCruz; sister-in-law, Nancy Manteufel; and by his loyal companion, Ruby; as well as by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, DuWayne, and by his brother, Steve Manteufel.
A memorial service for Mike will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
