Obituary
MaryJane Burskey, age 76, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Appleton. She was born May 5, 1948, in New York, daughter of the late Andrew and Doreen (Yunk) Sikorski.
MaryJane grew up near Buffalo, NY, before moving to Rothchild, WI. She graduated from Westin High School in 1966. MaryJane married Melvin Burskey on November 9, 1968, and they resided in Neenah.
She retired from Wisconsin Tissue after 44 years of employment. MaryJane loved cats and dogs, feeding the birds and squirrels and crossword puzzles. She enjoyed watching PBS and wildlife channels, and gameshows.
Survivors include her two children: Jaclynn Burskey, Paul Burskey and his special partner, Paula; her dog, Baxter; cat, Monkey; and her sister, Noreen Fisher; niece, Lori Fisher.
MaryJane was preceded in death by three brothers: Andrew, David and Robert; and her step-mother, Arline Sikorski.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
