February 14, 1946 - April 13, 2025
Obituary
Charles “Chuck” Louis Wolf, 79, of Neenah passed away peacefully at home on Sunday April 13, 2025, following a long battle with cancer. Chuck was born on February 14th, 1946, to Arthur Wolf and Ethel (Kraus) Wolf. He attended Neenah high school and graduated in 1964. Chuck was a lifelong member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, following in the footsteps of his parents and grandparents. Chuck's dream of owning his own business came to life when he started Comdata Micro Systems. He built and ran the company for over 20 years.
Chuck will be deeply missed by his soulmate, Karen (Rice) Wolf, whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Together they shared 6 sons: Brian (Julie) Wolf, Troy Wolf, Chad (Kelly) Wolf, Mike (Nellie) Mathison, Don (Brenda) Mathison, Brian (Patty) Mathison. Grandchildren: Jacob (Patsy) Wolf, Grace Wolf, Jessica Wolf, Sarah Wolf, Nikki (Kevin) Janiszeski, Matt (Vanessa) Mathison, Alyssa (Corey) Jarvis, Mandy (Jake) Flett, Emily (Shane) Dolan, Jake Mathison. Along with 10 wonderful great-grandchildren, his brother Dave (Sue) Wolf and sister Marsha Nemeck.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Arthur Wolf and Ethel McIntyre, daughter- in-law Brenda Mathison and sister-in-law Ann Wolf.
Chuck loved to travel, seeing most of the United States with his sons and visiting numerus other countries with Karen. If any of his family lived within 100 miles of where Chuck was traveling, a detour was always made for a quick visit. He never missed a sports game for one of his sons or grandchildren, going out of his way to cheer them on. He was always willing to show up and help with any project, adding that most of them were “two beer jobs”. He was an avid Packer fan, owning 6 season tickets, he attended many games over the years sharing his love with as many families and friends as possible. Chuck's true passion was food! Franks pizza, hot dogs, and beer were the way to his heart, and he was always willing to finish up any leftovers!
A memorial service for Chuck is being held at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 118 Oak St, Neenah, WI 54956, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, with visitation from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:30am.
Chuck's family would like to thank Dr. Kahn and the staff at the City of Hope Hospital for all their care and compassion.
