ERNEST DELIKOWSKI

Ernest E. Delikowski, Sr., of Neenah, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 13, 2025, with his loved ones by his side. Ernie was born November 6, 1929, in Elderon, WI, son of the late Anton and Frances (Kleman). He moved to Neenah in 1948 and started working in the paper mills. He retired in 1988 from Kimberly-Clark Corp. after 40 years. He also took care of lawns around town for years and cracked many hickory nuts.

Ernest married Ila (Harris) on August 27, 1949. He enjoyed traveling with Mom to all 50 states, all of Canada, Mexico, Germany, Austria, Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, France, and many other places. They enjoyed their casino trips, puzzles, and playing cards. They spent many winters in Florida, Arkansas, and Las Vegas. They enjoyed camping with the kids.

Ernie is survived by his special friend and caregiver for the last 10 years, Carol; sons: Dan (Jean); Alan (special friend Laurie); and four estranged children; son-in-law, Al; brother, Ray (Diane); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Ila; his daughter, Kathy; sisters: Lucille; Irene; and Angeline; brothers: Anton, Daniel, and Arthur.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Greenlawn Memorial Park Chapel, 1451 Green Valley Rd., Neenah. A visitation will be held at the chapel from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
