Obituary
An amazing life has passed from our sight, but never from our hearts.
Gary Allen Sedo passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 25, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, after a very courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Neenah, WI July 21, 1960, son of Eugene and Norine (Schmidt) Sedo.
If you asked him, the two biggest loves of his life were his wife, Diane and son, Eric. He and Diane were coming up on their 42nd wedding anniversary and he would always say he was honored and blessed to be Eric's dad. He loved spending time with them at their cottage in Mountain, hanging out and taking beautiful rides on their side-by-sides, and opening gun hunting weekend with Eric and his brother Jeff was always a must. Gary had a very close relationship with Jeff. Together they enjoyed hunting, fishing, having coffee at Jeff's, and painting jigs. They had a bond like no other.
Gary also loved spending time in Rhinelander fishing with his best friend, Dan Scholl, and boy would they catch fish!
Gary was loved by many and will be deeply missed. He was truly one of a kind.
Gary is survived by his wife, Diane; son, Eric; brother, Jeff (Laura) Sedo; sister, Mary Becker; nieces and nephews: godchild, Autumn (Jared) Grassl; Jeremy Nowell; Todd Krenn; and Tiffany Marie; as well as by many friends! He was preceded in death by his parents: Eugene Sedo and Norine Huffman; brothers: Bruce Sedo, Mike Sedo, Kevin Sedo, and Richard “Chief” Becker; sister, Carol Becker; and by his nephew, Tristan Secor.
A memorial service for Gary will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Gary will be laid to rest at Resthaven Cemetery.

Gary's family would like to offer their Heartfelt thank you to the whole cancer team at St. Elizabeth Cancer Center. Their compassion and care were always outstanding. We will be forever grateful to Dr. Abbi for giving us an extra 2 ½ years with Gary.
