JANET WILL

Janet Mable Will, age 82, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2014. A resident of Neenah most of her life, Janet was born on October 18, 1931 in Menasha, Wisconsin, to Maurice and Eleanor Suess. On July 5, 1952, she married Frederick A. Will and enjoyed nearly 50 years of marriage until his death in 2002. An involved, dedicated stay at home mother, Janet raised three daughters and one son. Janet was a wonderful seamstress, making wedding gowns, coats and many one-of-a-kind clothing articles for her family. She especially enjoyed making clothes for her grandchildren. Janet also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Janet is survived by her children, Lynn (John) Mozingo, Oshkosh, Cherie (Mike) Lourcey, Acton, California, Mike Will, Fremont, Wisconsin and Debbie (John) Jochman, Neenah; grandchildren, Stacy (Jeremy) Stroik, Shannon Will, Brian Lourcey, Kelly Lourcey, Brittany Jochman; great granddaughters, Bella and Elly Stroik; one sister, Carol (Warren) Seager; and her beloved cat, Tucker. Preceding her in death were her husband, Fred, her parents, a brother, an infant brother-in-law and her parents-in-law. A memorial service will be held at Westgor Funeral Home in Neenah on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Michael Ingold will officiate. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in her name to the Neenah Animal Shelter in honor of her very special rescue cat, Tucker. Janet's family is very grateful for the tender and loving care she received from all the staff at Oakridge Gardens and for the residents and staff at Island Shores for their friendship and caring. Janet will be buried at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Neenah, beside her husband.
