DOROTHY WILLIAMS

Dorothy Williams, age 92 of Waupaca, WI, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2021. She was born April 14, 1929, in Menasha, WI, the daughter of Joseph and Valeria (Luka) Altenhofen. She was raised and educated in Menasha. Upon graduation, she began working as a bookkeeper for a local paper company.

Dorothy married Jack Williams on February 14, 1953; he preceded her in death on March 2, 2006. They resided in Neenah, WI. Their marriage was blessed with four children, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Dorothy left the business world to raise their children. Through these years she was a loving parent and became a true friend.

Dorothy was a life-long member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. It was her faith that carried her through life. She moved to Waupaca five years ago to be closer to family. Her greatest joy was tending to and caring for family. She most enjoyed special times shared with friends and her loving family.

Left to celebrate her life is daughter Candace (Jerry) LaBelle; Sons: Steve, Rob (Marla), and David (Kathleen). Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. A sister Jean Woods and sister-in-law Chris Jorin; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Private family services will be held. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Oakhill Cemetery next to her beloved husband.
