Obituary

Rosemary Mayshaw Hayes

August 19, 1949 – June 14, 2025

Rosemary Mayshaw Hayes, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025, at the age of 75.

She was married to her devoted husband, Daniel R. Hayes, for 55 wonderful years. Together, they raised two loving children, Daniel and Shana Hayes, who survive her.

Born in Chicago to Helen and Howard Mayshaw, she graduated from Menasha High School in 1967 and went on to work at Menasha Corporation for over 20 years, where she was known for her dedication and hard work.

Rose had a deep love for animals, especially those in need. She spent many years rescuing dogs and cats from kill shelters and finding them loving homes. She cherished family vacations, reading, correcting people's grammar, retail therapy and the simple joys of time spent with those she loved.

Rose will be remembered for her generous heart, her strength, and her unwavering love for her family and the animals she helped. She will be deeply missed by many. Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home assisted the family.

Rose was a great second Mom, she had to keep us in line as kids as we terrorized the neighborhood. Love you Rose.

My sympathy to Dan and family. I have so many fond memories of Rose. She was my first co-worker and I learned a lot from her. I remember looking up to her because of all her knowledge and she was a sharp dresser. She loved her trips with Dan (especially Vegas and the Kentucky Derby). She was such a proud mom of Danny and Shana. Hold those memories close and cherish the time you had with her.
