CHRIS ANDERSON

It is with heaviest of hearts that we announce the sudden, unexpected passing of Chris William Anderson, Sr., age 67, of Neenah, Wi. Beloved son, father, brother and friend.

Chris was born Nov. 23, 1957, in Appleton, WI, to Clark and Emma Anderson. In his youth, Chris was a good student and person. He played football at Neenah High School. He developed his love of fishing, hunting and the outdoors early on. After graduation, Chris joined the family Snap-on Tool business at which he enjoyed success due to his ability to absorb product knowledge, and his dynamic personality.

In February of 1988, Chris took his skills to work at INX International Ink Company as a sales rep. Using his communication skills and product knowledge he was able to help many of his customers improve their ability to print innovative products. He was considered a top salesman by his superiors. He was highly respected and had many friends in that industry.

Chris served on the St. Mark’s Church Council and participated in the Big Brother program. He was very generous and was always willing to help others.

Chris was a pillar in his immediate family, as well as his extended family, taking part in yearly family reunion campouts, instigating many good times and memories.

Chris had to cut his career short due to health issues. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and left INX in September of 2009.

Chris is survived by his Mom, Emma; brother, Craig and wife Denice; son, Chris Jr. and Wife Marcia; Granddaughters: Hailie and Lily; son, Casey and wife Michelle; grandsons: Jim and Waylon. He was preceded in death by his father Clark Sr. and brother Clark Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 140 S. Green Bay Rd, Neenah, with Rev. Niveen Sarras officiating. Visitation at the church from 10:00AM until the service time.
