Obituary
Karen Kay Kippenhan, passed away unexpectedly after complications of a heart attack on September 16, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee. She was born on December 21, 1958 to the late Calvin and Betty Kippenhan.
Karen was affectionately known as “Auntie” to many. She was a natural caregiver meeting the needs of those she loved before they even had to ask. She enjoyed crafting, working on her latest Diamond painting, or reading a good book. She liked being outside tending to her flowers or just soaking up the sun. She was happiest being with her family and friends and treasured her time spent doting on all her nieces and nephews and spoiling the family dogs. Christmas was always very special with Auntie. Her warmth, kindness, and love touched everyone around her.
She will be missed with broken hearts by Denis, her brothers – Gregg Craig and Jeff (Carrie) Kippenhan, her niece Michelle (Kurt) Miller, her nephews Kevin (Crystal) Kippenhan and Cody (Stephanie) Kippenhan, and her great nieces Kylee and Karissa Miller, Mercedes, Ariel, Lily and Emma Kippenhan, as well as numerous friends especially Judy.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Marg Craig.
Her family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Chiang and the ICU staff of Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, October 4th from 12-4 at the Washington Park Shelter, 631 Winneconne Avenue, Neenah.
