I believe Alvina was greeted at the pearly gates with open arms from her Lord and Savior. She lived her life with faith showing to all who knew her. Roger was the love of her life. I came to know her and Roger through my job as their dental hygienist for many years. God bless all who knew her.

Alvina was my cousin. She and Roger would stop in to visit us when we lived in Menasha. She was a very special lady and will be missed for her kindness to others. I'm sure she was greeted with open arms by her parents and brothers who were already in heaven waiting for her. RIP Alvina.

Nana was my children's babysitter for twelve years. She never, in that time, took a sick day and when she was on vacation she arranged a backup sitter for us.
Alvina took care of all four kids over a three week period when they all had the chickenpox. She only called me at work one time in twelve years to say that I had forgotten to say goodbye to Michael and that she couldn't get him to stop crying.
In fact, when building our house, we made sure that it was in close proximity to Roger and Alvina so that we could keep them in our lives. Nana was loved and will be missed by Eric, Jenny, Michael and Amanda.
Over the last few years, she badly wanted to be with Roger and we are so happy for her that she got her wish.

I visited and helped take care of Nana(Alvina) since I returned home from the navy. It was always the highlight of my week and we both looked forward to our visits and our little adventures……the old Bradkes(apple valley pancake house) was our stomping grounds where Nana always had a hamburger with nothing but fried onions and coffee. She was one of the sweetest people with a small temper. She had nothing but love for everyone, even when she was having a bad day she made sure to say hello and to have a good day. Nana was one made my days a little brighter and I always left with a smile. She was and will always be my Nana and one of my best friends. Thank you for making us a part of your life and the love you gave me. I love you, I’ll stay out of trouble, and I’ll always drive safe!
