Obituary

David James Schilling, age 63, of Hortonville passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2014. He was born on May 31, 1951 in Appleton, son of the late James A. and Ruth C. (Theiss) Schilling. He was the proud owner of Schilling's Quality Printing in Hortonville, with the famous slogan: "We print everything but money". David loved gardening, fishing, raising angel fish, and the Green Bay Packers. His sense of humor and his prankster ways will be forever-remembered by those who knew him. He will be sadly missed by his loving fiancée, Esther Hopkins; a daughter: Rebecca (Ricardo) Joseph, Vancouver, BC; sons: Jason (Christina) Schilling, Utah, Raymond (Cinda) Schilling, Green Bay, Justin Schilling, Weyauwega, Matthew Schilling, Weyauwega; step-children: Kersten (Shannon) Heling, Shawano, Stephen (fiancée Tammy Reyes) Hopkins, Bonduel; grandchildren: Jack, Serenity, Trinity, Kaitlynn, Kelsey, Stevie, Ethan, and Aksel; a brother: Tim (Jennifer) Schilling, Appleton; sisters: Mary Rose (Fred) Gavin, Grand Rapids, MI, Kathleen (fiancé Tom Nudelbacher) Winarski, Appleton; several nieces and nephews; further survived by Esther's siblings, with whom he was very close. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son, Danny Schubert. In accordance with David's wishes, a private family service will be held. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name.
