SCOTT SWANSON

Scott J. A. Swanson, age 53 of Neenah, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 13, 2014. He was born on September 19, 1960 to Bill and Geri Swanson in Prospect Heights, IL and married Debbie Achter on April 4, 1992. Scott was a graduate of the University Of Illinois Champaign-Urbana School Of Engineering and received his Teaching Degree from UW Oshkosh. He was an engineer at Kimberly-Clark, taught at Merrill Middle School and then drove truck for CTS. Scott enjoyed traveling, fishing, golfing, gardening, camping and reading. Scott will be missed by his wife of 22 years, Debbie; his brothers: Mark (Patty) Swanson and Doug Swanson; his step-mother, Dale Swanson; his in-laws: Jeanne (Doug) Foley and Bruce (Julie) Achter and niece Emily. He is further survived by his aunt, LaVerne Barica, as well as many beloved cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister-in-law, Margaret Swanson. A Funeral Service for Scott will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund in his name will be established. Antelope, You left us way too soon. Love you always. Deer
