PATRICIA SCHMIDLI

Patricia Sue Schmidli, age 60 of Neenah, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 15, 2014. She was born in Milwaukee on February 13, 1954 to the late Alvin and Patricia (Popelka) Peterson. After moving to Oshkosh to obtain her Masters Degree in teaching, Patricia decided she enjoyed the Fox Valley too much to leave. Most recently, Patricia worked as a substitute teacher for the Appleton School District and was a very involved volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul and was a Friend of the Neenah Public Library. In her free time she enjoyed shopping, listening to music and watching movies. She also enjoyed rummaging and thrift stores. Patricia is survived by her brothers and sister: David (Julie) Peterson; Sally (John) Nusslock; Tom (late Cynthia) Peterson; Phillip (Polly) Peterson; and Alvin (Arlene) Peterson. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, as well as many good friends. The Funeral Service for Patricia will be held at 11:30 A.M., Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Friends of Neenah Library. Patricia's family would like to extend a special thank you to their cousin, Nancy Steffens, as well as to her friends, Marge Erickson and Betty Buckiet for always being there to lend a helping hand. Also, thank you to the staff of 2 South at Theda Clark for all of their care and compassion during all of Patricia's stays.
