SHIRLEY MINKS

Shirley Minks, age 76, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday December 28, 2014. She was born to the late Clitus & Mary (Daily) Georgeson on Feb 5th 1938 in the town of Helvetia, Waupaca County. Shirley was married to Howard Minks on Dec. 18, 1957. She worked for Rich's Bakery for 33 years, where she retired in July of 2000. Shirley enjoyed playing games, cards and watching old shows on TV. Shirley is survived by her five children: Brian Minks, Appleton, Lee (Ellie) Minks, Stotts City, Missouri, Sara (Chris) Freeberg, Neenah, Alan (Teri) Minks, Appleton, Judy (Gary) Wyland, Appleton; her sister, Darlene Larsen, Weyauwega; her Aunt Evelyn Hoopeston, IL; eleven grandchildren: Kenneth (Tammy), Bobbie Jo, Tony (Heather), Jamie, Phillip, Nicholas, Michael (Linda), Casey, Glenn (Danelle), Andrew, Cody, and thirteen great grandchildren: Cory, Makenzie, Owen, Paige, Lexi, Curt, Conar, MJ, Arhyan, Jaelyn, Peyten, Maverick and Finley. She was further survived by many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her brother, Donald Georgeson; and her sister, Charlotte Jenks. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, January 2, 2015, in the Chapel at Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum, 1451 Green Valley Road, Neenah. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home and again on Friday at the Mausoleum from 3:00 PM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
