LAURIE KLUNDT

Laurie Ann Klundt, age 55 of Neenah, passed away after an almost year-long battle with cancer. She was born on April 14, 1959 to the late Shirley (Scheunert) Splinter and Leonard Weber. On July 20, 2012, she married Jeff Klundt. Laurie was a very positive person, having kept a great attitude throughout her entire illness. She was strong until the end. Laurie was proud of the three years she spent in the Army, serving in both Germany and Texas. After her service, Laurie earned her degree and became an LPN, working for the Affinity Clinic in Neenah for over 30 years. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her dog, Buster and took great pride in her gardening and feeding her birds every morning. She also enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes, which always turned out delicious. Laurie will be sadly missed by her husband, Jeff Klundt; her children: Eric Brusky; Nick Brusky; David Klundt; Daniel (Kari) Klundt; Eric (Erin) Klundt; and Stacy (Tal) Moua; her grandchildren: Jack, Owen, Lyla, Claira, Amelia, Sylvia, and Aiden. She is further survived by her siblings: Terry Lynn Atkins; twin sister, Linda Marie (Dan) Witt; Michelle Jo (Bill Rath) Weber; and Stacy Eckert as well as her mother-in-law, Angeline Klundt; many nieces, nephews, and countless friends. She was loved by all who met her. We were all blessed to have her in our lives. A funeral service for Laurie will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service. Laurie's family would like to extend a warm thank you to all of her caregivers at St. Elizabeth Hospital for their kindness and compassion throughout her illness. To my dear, sweet Laurie, I have been so very blessed to have you in my life as my best friend for 55 years. Heaven is so lucky to have you, as have I. You're always in my heart. ~Linda
