Obituary
Thomas Joseph Sisson, age 63, always loving and generous to family and friends, died suddenly March 7, 2015 at his home in Menasha. He was a successful environmental engineer and most recently worked for Boeing in Long Beach, California. Having lived in southern California for over 30 years, Tom recently retired and moved to Menasha to be closer to family and his beloved Packers. His easy laugh and sense of fun will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Tom was a fan of all sports and enjoyed traveling and family get-togethers. He also volunteered at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Tom is survived by his sisters: Billie Malott, Bonnie Finkler, Mary Ann (John) Meyer and Vicki (George) Leone. Stories of Tom's escapades will be shared for many years by his nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; cousins (including Father Bob Lindsey and Joe (Darlene) Lindsey; by his uncle, Robert Sisson; as well as numerous friends, most especially Jeri and Ken Ogata of San Dimas, CA. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Alice Sisson; and a brother-in-law, Charles Malott. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 528 Second St., Menasha, with Fr. Bob Lindsey officiating. The visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00-7:00 PM at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home, and again at the church on Tuesday from 10:30 AM until the hour of Mass. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for St. Elizabeth Hospital Foundation OR the Boys & Girls Club of Menasha.
