Obituary
Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Sunday evening, September 27, 2015, at Carolina Manor in Appleton, WI. She was born on November 27, 1924, in Lincoln, Nebraska, daughter of the late Henry and Katherine (Frueauf) Lehl. She grew up on a farm in the Town of Vinland and attended Dixie and Trinity Lutheran Schools. Mollie married Kenneth W. Klemm on August 24, 1946, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Neenah, and they were happily married for over 55 years. He preceded her in death on December 14, 2001. Mollie's faith was important to her and she was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Neenah and an active member of Ladies Aid. She loved to cook and bake, and family and friends looked forward to her homemade bread, buns, pies and cookies. Mollie also enjoyed gardening, walking, the Packers and the Cubs, and playing bingo. She loved visiting with her family and friends. Survivors include Mollie's three children: Kathy (Kenneth) Gillis, Darboy, WI, Kenneth (Sandra Perillo) Klemm, De Pere, WI, and Kevan (Ann) Klemm, Kaukauna, WI; four grandchildren: Jodi (Chris) North, Jason (Adrienne) Gillis, Kayla Klemm, and Jacob Klemm; five great grandchildren: Elijah, Sarah, Isla, Kiera, and Gavin; brother Ernest (Beverly) Lehl; sister-in-law Lou Ellen Reinert; numerous nieces and nephews, many friends, including special friend Lorraine and friends at Brookstone Commons and Carolina Manor. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers and sisters: Marie (Elmer) Ellis, Henry (Corinne) Lehl, John (Laura) Lehl, Kathryn (Frederick) Strutz, and Frieda (Thomas) Schider, and in-laws William and Emma Klemm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 407 Oak Street, Neenah, with the Rev D. J. Engelbrecht officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Neenah. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or ThedaCare Hospice in Neenah. The family would like to thank the staff at ThedaCare Hospice and Carolina Manor for their wonderful care, concern and respect they showed to Mollie. The Touch of the Master's Hand Whenever your life is out of tune And no melody soothes your soul, Look to the Master whose gentle touch Will bless you and make you whole. Like an old violin with so little worth, A life may be far less than grand, But may be transformed in a moment By the touch of The Master's Hand.
