Obituary
Christine M. Schmidt, of Menasha, age 52, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born February 21, 1964 in Neenah, daughter of Richard and Eva (Olson) Martell.
Christine loved animals, especially her cat. She enjoyed nature and taking trips to Jefferson Park and Heckrodt Nature Center.
Survivors include her two daughters: Amanda Schmidt, Lanette Martell; her mother, Eva Martell; nine brothers and sisters: Joyce (David) Downs, Linda (Gary) Stafford, Theresa Erickson (Bill Sobieski), Richard Martell, Katherine (Tim) Murphy, Nancy (Kevin) Labby, David Martell, Judy Martell (Lee Hartson), Ronald Martell; and a special friend of Christine's, Greg Willing.
Christine was preceded in death by her father, Richard Martell.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.
