JENNIFER KUHR

Jennifer A. Kuhr, of Menasha, age 43, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017, following complications with open heart surgery.  She was born July 26, 1973 in Clintonville, WI, daughter of Larry and Judy (Schwartz) Braatz.

Jennifer graduated from Menasha High School in 1992.  She recently started attending Fox Valley Tech and was on the Dean's List.  Jennifer married Robert Kuhr on July 23, 2006. 

Jennifer was a member of People First and was involved with ARC of Appleton.  She was appointed by Governor Scott Walker to the Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities where she made many friends.  Jennifer competed in swimming in the Special Olympics.  She was employed with Piggly Wiggly as a cashier.

Jennifer loved her dog, Dylan, and her cat, Sassy, Winnie the Pooh and teddy bears, and she would give everyone she met a hug.  She was a very loving and outgoing person.  Jennifer loved going out to eat, especially for mac and cheese at MAC's.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; parents, Larry and Judy Braatz; her brother, Kelly (Stacy) Braatz; nieces: Desiree, Kayla; a nephew, Kirkland; her mother-in-law, Sharon Bronk; and brothers and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home.  The visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.  In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her name.
