Obituary

Patricia G. Zelinski, age 94, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 17, 2024. She was born on December 13, 1929, in Neenah, daughter of the late George and Margaret (Grimes) Kofler.

Patricia graduated from Neenah High School in 1947. She married William “Bill” Zelinski on April 22, 1950, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Neenah. Patricia was a homemaker who spent the majority of her time raising her 9 children. She was active in her parish and children's schools. Patricia also volunteered at the Salvatorian Mission Warehouse in New Holstein, Wi, and delivered Meals on Wheels. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Parish in Neenah.

Survivors include eight children: Peg (Peter) Zagzebski, Kay (Scott) Rasmussen, Tom (Jenni Bruehl) Zelinski, Jenny (Mark) Mankiewicz, Sue (Ted) Miller, Tricia (Doug) Rogers, Amy (Joe) Gruse, Trudy (John) Long; 31 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law: Patricia Zelinski and Judy Marquis.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; a son, Matthew; her sister, Sally; brother, John; as well as many sisters and brothers-in-law.

The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 15, 2024, at St. Margret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division St. Neenah, with Fr. Phil Schoofs officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 AM until Mass time. Inurnment will be in St. Margaret's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her name.

The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital for their care.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Zelinski family. I have warm memories of your mother and father at the family (Gulig and Grimes) gatherings in Neenah and Oshkosh and playing hide and seek and baseball when we were kids. I will keep Patsy and Bill in my prayers.

I shall miss my Godmother very much. She watched over me and Cousin Jim Grimes for almost eighty years and never missed sending a birthday card. She is now reunited with Bill who was my confirmation sponsor, a great pair of people to look up to for guidance. Prayers to all the family.
