Obituary

Raymond J. Stanczak, age 62, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 25, 2023. He was born January 10, 1961, in Neenah, son of Leonard and Rosemary Stanczak.

Ray graduated from Menasha High School class of 1979. With his love for mechanics and hardwork, he took on jobs involving Auto Body repair, and spent 33 years with Gulfstream as lead of their paint department. Following there, he has been with Presto Products the last two years.

Ray had a great love for music and the outdoors, especially with family and friends. His adventurous spirit loved to DJ, hunt, fish and feel freedom on his Harley. There was never something he couldn't fix, a song he couldn't name or dance to, a smile or hug he couldn't give.  Ray made friends everywhere he went and was the sunshine in many hearts.  He will truly be missed.

Survivors include his three children: Kristi (Michael) Urban, Joseph (Ebony) Stanczak, Randy (Hannah) Stanczak; his mother Rosemary Stanczak; two brothers: Marty Stanczak, Dan (Susan) Stanczak; his sister, Diane (Jeffrey) DeWall; precious granddaughter Kenzie Urban; he held a special relationship with his nephew Andrew Stanczak, among many other nieces, nephews and extended family.

Ray was preceded in death by his father, Leonard.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.

Ray was one of my best friends, Like an older brother to me, the Godfather of my oldest daughter Hayley, and a great mentor over the years. I owe a lot of who I am today due to Rays' guidance over the years. I will miss him deeply. Fair skies and following seas bud I will see ya again someday.
