DOROTHY ENGSTROM

Dorothy L. Engstrom, age 87 of Neenah, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014. She was born in the Town of Maine, WI on October 16, 1926. Dorothy married Bert Engstrom and together they enjoyed bowling in their younger years, and fishing. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Neenah, and after working for 16 years at Banta Corp., found a hobby in knitting many mittens for charities through the church. She also enjoyed canning tomatoes, baking, and cooking the fish she and Bert caught. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband, Bert; her sons: Bob (Theresa) Engstrom, and Paul (Patti) Engstrom; two grandchildren: Christopher and Alysha (special friend Travis). She is further survived by her special friends, Kay and Gary Hobart, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Gaylord and Louise Scott; and her siblings: Marcella; Royce; Floyd; Lorraine; Bernice; Leona; Alice; Ruth; and Annamarie. A funeral service for Dorothy will be held at NOON, Monday, February 24, 2014 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 809 S. Commercial St., Neenah, Rev. Catherine A.K. Mode officiating. A visitation will be held at church from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association in Dorothys name.
