My father, Brad Westphal adored Zac and Zac adored him. I have to believe my dad was there to greet Zac with open arms in heaven. I was so sad to hear this and I am wishing the family the strength to get through this. Of course, forever changed. Sending all my love, the Westphal Family

I feel blessed to have known Zac and to have been his Pulmonologist for so many years. I will never forget Zac’s determination and his powerful personalty.

Dori, Joel, Nate and family please know of my prayers for you all. My fondest memory of Zac was giving him a big BLUE (from the frosting on a cupcake) kiss at Palisades Park 💗 He "ran away" from me in his wheelchair but I think he loved every minute of it.
