Dear Susie and John, How very sorry I was to read of your dad's passing. Growing up on Stevens Street was very special and your mom and dad made it more so. I have fond memories of our dad's joking with each other. They would always tell each other that "whomever dies with the most toys wins". In the end, they both did pretty well toy-wise. And how kind both your mom and dad were when my dad died, having the whole Pickett clan over for a brunch the day of Dad's service. Time passes so quickly and things are always changing.
