SHIRLEY RYAN

My sympathy to Shirley’s family. Now my brother Paul and I are the last of the Palmbach cousins, except for Laverne. I spent my young teenage years in Shirley’s lovely clothes, plaid pleated skirts especially. She was very small and I was a very large person for my age so our sizes corresponded at a certain point and our mothers traded our clothes out.   I babysat for the Ryan children sometimes when I was in college at Lawrence. I continued to see Shirley at cousins gatherings in Appleton over a large number of years and have missed her just recently. I know she lived a long and fruitful life. My my condolences to all of you.
