RICHARD MEYER

I'm so sorry for the loss of Richard "Dick" aka "Click Click",for the obvious reason of being a excellent photographer!! I just learned of his passing today, sadly.Dick was so kind to me and my family.He even helped me move, while our duplex was being renovated in 2009' I didn't even have to ask I would see him almost daily riding his bike passed our duplex or his grey truck. He'd stop and say hello,and ask how things were going. He took 2 of the best pictures of my Dad and I together,at the last Banta picnic,at Jefferson Park He was one of the kindest souls to be sure.I graduated with his son Keane, who incidentally,was my drivers Ed partner and who I admire. Dick was even open to teaching me how to be a great photographer.Circumstances never allowed for that to happen. Gosh I knew something was up,as I have not seen him drive by or ride his bike.My heart just knew . My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends blessed to have known him.He will never be forgotten by me I sometimes felt like he was more than a friend to us.He was like family.I think he was hoping that Keane and I would get together,he seemed to hint for that . Deep Sigh 😔 Rest in peace Dick, I miss you and Thank you for those wonderful pictures and for being there,when I truly needed help moving.I had some cameras and equipment,that I always wanted you to see. I have thought about that and never got to get around to it.If you only knew how much it meant to me your help,at a time I needed help and you selflessly did it.You certainly earned your wings .

Janet & family, Feeling very sad to hear about Dick's passing. My first memory of Dick was when he worked for the Northwestern. He was a friend of the family & took many pictures. He was also mine & Dennis's wedding photographer. Through the years I'd see him in & out of church & he would have come across pictures of the family that he gave me to share with my sisters. He enjoyed reminiscing about the family and sharing details about the area we lived in. Thanks for the memories Dick! God bless you & your family Janet.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Dick. He was such a good friend to Mike and me. His photographs followed Mike from running for Neenah alderman to his stint in the Wisconsin Senate. He also photographed our wedding. I still have many of his pictures and I will always treasure them.

RIP my friend. Take some good pictures in Heaven.
