Marvin Gossen

I have missed thanking my special angels in the obituary. My brothers and sisters, Bob and wife Jan Betty, Dave, Tom, Bill and wife Kim, Deb and husband Ron. We were also blessed to have a special Angel in Tammy Deitzen and Doris and Ken Schmidt. Bless you all.

We were saddened to see Marv's obituary. We have many good memories from our younger days together---cards, bowling, pizza slamming of car door in New London, having our rifles taken away at the gravel pit when we were shooting at stones and the warden thought it was birds, Marv's greatest hangover at our house on New Year's Day. Marv was a #1. We never heard him speak bad of anyone. Heaven has gained another STAR.

It was my great privilege to work with Marvin for many years at Glatfelter, and to have met Barb through Marvin. Knowing both of them will count as one of my greatest blessings. Thanks for the Segway lessons Marv. Hope you're Segwaying around in the clouds of glory. Wishing peace and many happy memories to Marv's beloved family.

Marv was a valued member of Fox Valley Memory Project’s chorus called On a Positive Note. Barb continued to sing with us even after Marv moved to Copperstone (and we hope she eventually returns). I’ll be donating to FVMP in his honor.
