DANIEL HARTZHEIM

uncle Dan was my favorite uncle. he was so cool and I wish I got to see him more often. I remember when his mom(grandma barb) was living at his house I slept over there one night and pebbles the cat was away and anyway I just don't think he should have died I miss him so much

Dan was a father to me! We met through work. We only knew each other for 6 years but it seemed forever though. We had our 9 am lunch break and took turns fighting who was paying that day! Or there was days where we forgot our wallets lol. Then there were days I smoked brisket for us or cooked out for us and bring it in the next day so we had food. There were days where we would go out to eat. He brought the grand kids to the haunted house where my family volunteered at. We would take our cars out and go drive around Oshkosh and show them off! He loved his car and tried to tell me to paint mine purple too and put flames on it lol. He has his challenger I have  my nova. He came to our daughter’s graduation party where he let me drive the piss out of his car with some of my family members in it! That’s where we were in the picture! He would listen to me complain about everything and he gave me ideas like a father would! We would text each other almost every day since I’ve moved to Florida! I will miss you A**h***!! I have met Dan at some of the Hartzheims Christmas Party's and at his Home, got to visit with him, and he showed off his beautiful muscle car, you knew he was proud of that...and it was shiny and spotless, so you know he loved that car! He was kind, and fun to be around. I felt special, he was just being himself. He will be missed by All who knew him or just met him for a moment, but not his memory. Peace Dan. i aqm so very sorry to hear about Dan. He did soo much for his Mom barb and visited her so often. THINKING OF YOU ALL DURING this most difficult time. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. GOD WILL GET YOU ALL THROUGH THIS. MEMORIES KEEP CLOSE TO YOUR HEART AND REMEMBER ALL THE FUN TIMES YOU ENJOYED WITH DAN

Shelly, So sorry to read about your brother, Dan. May he rest in peace. Never got the chance to meet him, sounds like a great guy. May all the memories you have get you through this tough time. Steve Gibbs sends his condolences too. Sad. Too young.
